Unlike traditional derma rolling techniques, micro-needling is a safe and effective technique that delivers results with less epidermal damage. The device uses multiple tiny micro-needles, which when glide over the skin creates micro injuries to the skin in order to stimulate collagen production.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT?
Before treatment begins, a topical numbing cream will be applied. This takes about 30 minutes to numb the area. Once the area is numb, the cream will be removed and the skin is prepped for treatment. At Movai we incorporate infusion therapy with microneedling treatment to enhance our patients outcome further. The microneedles go over the skin, creating 1,600 micro penetrations per second. Patients report that this feels like a small vibration. The depth of the microneedles can be adjusted based on your specific aesthetic goals and skin condition. The microneedling itself takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
